PHILOSOPHY

We work with a sense of everything being related, which allows fresh thinking, when entering the world of art and design, and the ability to create striking products, that are in tune with our time. PHUCISME strives to offer a unique and creative proposition for the modern consumer and companies.

STORY

PHUCISME was launched in 2010, devised by the co-owners Phuc Van Dang and Pia Schildknecht – with its home in Horsens, Denmark. The duo first crossed paths in 2004 with Phuc as a artist and in-house designer and Pia, who tried to find her role in the creative industry. The meet through a joined exhibition in Horsens, where his art and her clothes where showed off. They quickly became friends and shared a common interest in the design and art scene – with views they felt were quite different than their peers. Since that time Phuc developed his artistic stroke and kept working as an in-house designer,  and mainly created products for Bolia and Idemøbler, and Pia got more into branding and PR with a design technology degree, and at the same time developed skills within graphic design and photography. In 2010 they took big step and created their own brand, PHUCISME, where they can do what they love to do: Great art and design, without compromising the creative process in the name of commercialization.

PROFILE

Designed in house by Phuc Van Dang, the PHUCISME collection represents functional basics in art, design and fashion – but characterized by his graphic and edgy style. PHUCISME is also a mulwifacetced environment comprised design collections, art exhibitions, events, corporations with other inspirational people, branding and PR consultancy, and concept development.
