He has studied Fine Arts in Salamanca (Spain); Illustration in Milano (Italy) and Video and Photo in Madrid (Spain). After graduation he worked in advertising companies. Today he is based in Madrid, working as a freelance illustrator for companies, books, and magazines. Cavolo’s work is based in a kind of naif style, using powerful colors and simple line and forms. He focuses in the weird part of life, together with the freaky characters, whom you fall in love with. He clearly gets his point across. The weird and the ugly parts of our life is actually the most real, beautiful and interesting.
