Akira was born in Ehime, Japan. He had lived in Kyoto, Kita-Kyusyu, and Berlin. Now he lives and work in Tokyo. His work crosses over the different mediums of drawing , illustration, typography, and animation. His work has been featured in art magazines worldwide. He had participated in art shows, conventions and fairs in Japan and Europe. He had also done solo shows in Japan and Denmark.
We are so excited to use his great illustrations for our white bone china cups, and we also sell his amazing Chojin Club vol. 2 magazine, which is an alternative comic magazine.
